BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Lifeandpauli LLC, a Florida limited liability company located at 3833 Powerline Road, Suite 201,
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, USA, organizes boutique retreats. The terms "we"
"us"
"our"

"Company" refer to Lifeandpauli LLC. The terms "you"
"traveler"

to the person making a booking with us and all members of their group.
CONTRACT. We draw your attention to the terms and conditions below. These terms and
conditions, including all documents, correspondence and the terms and conditions of our
Suppliers, form the basis of the contract with you (collectively,
"Terms and Conditions"). Before
making a booking with us you must ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and
Conditions (and ask any questions you may have). Please be aware that these Terms and
Conditions contain waivers of liability as well as waiver of class action and venue selection and
notice clauses. By making any payment to Lifeandpauli LLC or participating in any of our
retreats, you are accepting all of the Terms and Conditions set forth herein (including the
Cancellation and Chargeback sections) and acknowledging that you have read the Terms and
Conditions of this legally binding agreement and agree with it. If you do not agree with any part
of these Terms and Conditions, you must not make a booking with us or pay us in connection
with our services.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions,
"Released Parties" shall mean Lifeandpauli
LLC, its manager Paulina Zoudlik, and all members, officers, employees, staff members,
assistants, agents, representatives, volunteers, yoga teachers, photographers, and other
persons engaged by the Company in connection with the retreat.
You represent and warrant that (a) you are at least 18 years of age and can create binding legal
obligations, (b) you are legally authorized to act on behalf of those you represent and accept
these Terms and Conditions on their behalf, and (c) the information supplied by you or members
of your group is true and correct.
VIOLATIONS BY YOU. You agree that any violation of these Terms and Conditions may result
in (a) the cancellation of your reservation, (b) your forfeiture of any monies paid, and (c) you
being denied access to the retreat.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Lifeandpauli LLC may update these Terms
and Conditions from time to time, and updated versions will be posted on our website. The
Terms and Conditions in effect on the date you make your booking are the ones that apply to
your booking. If we need to make a change that materially affects a booking you have already
made, we will let you know directly by email, and that change will not apply to your existing
booking unless you agree to it. Minor changes, or changes we are required to make for legal or
regulatory reasons, may take effect without separate consent.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
When you are ready to join a retreat, apply through our application process via our website or
social media. Once your application has been successful, your booking will be confirmed after
payment of the applicable deposit as described below and receipt of the necessary traveler
information. After your booking is confirmed you will receive an invoice with payment
information, the documents you need to sign, and all relevant information for your retreat.
Payment of 50% of the total retreat cost is due as a deposit at the time of booking. For
bookings made less than forty-five (45) days prior to the retreat start date, 100% of the total cost
is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than forty-five (45) days
prior to the retreat start date. Deposits and any fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, except as set
out in the Cancellation section below.
After booking is confirmed, Lifeandpauli LLC may send out a payment schedule reminder;
however, the traveler is solely responsible for making all payments in full and on time. Failure to
make any payment may result in the cancellation of your booking. In such a case this would be
considered a cancellation by you and the cancellation terms below would be in effect.
PRICE. The price of the retreat is the price stated at the time of your booking. Once your
booking is confirmed, your price is fixed and will not change. Prices for future retreats may differ.
Flights are not included. Airfare to and from your arrival and departure destinations is not
included. You must not make any air reservations until you receive written confirmation of your
booking. Travelers who independently purchase airfare prior to receiving written booking
confirmation do so at their own risk and are solely liable for any resulting change fees, penalties,
or losses. All contracts for airfare are with the carrier and subject to its terms.
PAYMENT METHODS AND CHARGEBACKS. Payments can be made via bank transfer. Your
payment is an authorization to process payment and an acknowledgement and agreement to
these Terms and Conditions including the cancellation terms. You agree not to make any
improper chargebacks or payment disputes.
Before initiating a chargeback, the traveler must contact us at retreats@lifeandpauli.com
concerning any questions or concerns about our charges. We will work with you in attempting to
resolve your concerns. Lifeandpauli LLC retains the right to dispute any chargeback that is
improper and to recover any costs, including attorney's fees, related to improper chargebacks.
The following chargeback scenarios are improper:

Chargebacks resulting from non-cancellable reservations, whether or not the reservation
is used.

Chargebacks resulting from charges authorized by family, friends, associates or other
third parties with access to your banking information. This does not include fraud.
Chargebacks resulting from force majeure or other circumstances beyond the control of
Lifeandpauli LLC or the Supplier.
Chargebacks resulting because you do not agree with the cancellation policy.
Chargebacks resulting because you were not provided with an itemized breakdown of
costs.
GROUP TRAVEL. Our retreats are curated group experiences. You will not be able to request
or make changes to the retreat program. Retreats are purchased as complete packages, which
means you are not entitled to an itemized breakdown of costs.
PRICE AND RATE CHANGES. The price of your retreat is fixed once your booking is confirmed
and we receive your payment in full, subject to the following: in the exceptional case of a
documented increase in third-party costs beyond our control (including fuel, transport, exchange
rates, and government taxes and fees), we may pass on such increases up to a maximum of
8% of the total price. Any such increase will be communicated to you no later than 21 days
before the retreat start date. If a price increase exceeds 8% of the total price, you may cancel
and receive a full refund.
Please review all correspondence and documents carefully and promptly, as we will not be
responsible for any errors. It is your responsibility to review all documentation and alert us within
twenty-four (24) hours of any corrections. Names provided to secure reservations must match
travelers' passports.
WHAT IS AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT
The retreat includes the accommodation, meals and activities described on our website and in
your booking confirmation for the specific retreat you selected.
Accommodation. Accommodation and occupancy are provided as described. Special requests
such as single rooms must be made at the time of booking and are not guaranteed. Travelers
should be aware that standards and facilities in the Maldives can differ from those at home. Part
of the joy of travel is experiencing a different way of life, and we hope you will embrace these
differences.
The Company reserves the right, if necessary, to substitute similar accommodation. We cannot
be held responsible for over-bookings; should such occur, we will undertake to find similar
accommodation in the same area.
Meals. Meals are included as described. Any food and beverages consumed outside of these
meals are at the sole expense of the traveler. For safety and liability reasons, the Company
cannot be responsible for directly accommodating any food allergies, dietary requirements or
restrictions. We will advise our Suppliers of your requirements, but we cannot guarantee
availability.
Activities. Only the activities described are included. Any excursions or activities not included
and done outside of retreat times are at the sole expense of the traveler. It is mandatory that
you be on time for all scheduled activities. Activities will begin on time and failure to arrive will be
considered a no-show for which no refunds will be available.
Changes to the retreat program. The Company reserves the right to make changes to the
published retreat program which we deem insignificant and which are due to reasons beyond
our control. This can be due to force majeure, weather, sea conditions, religious holidays, local
regulations, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will arrange for the substitution of
comparable services.
What is not included. Any items not explicitly described are not included in the retreat price.
This includes flights, any transportation not specified, checked and excess baggage, passport
and visa fees, travel insurance of all kinds, gratuities and tips, laundry, beverages and meals not
described, optional experiences, souvenirs, and all items of a personal nature. The price does
not cover costs and expenses, including your return home, if you leave the retreat, whether of
your own volition, by our decision based on behavior that disrupts the retreat, due to illness, or
any other reason.
NON-OPERATION OF THE RETREAT
Each retreat is based on a minimum number of participants. Lifeandpauli LLC makes every
effort to ensure that each retreat meets its minimum requirement. However, if bookings drop
below the minimum of eight (8) participants, cancellation of the retreat may occur at the sole
discretion of Lifeandpauli LLC. In such case, guests will be advised at least sixty (60) days
prior to the retreat start date.
We may offer alternative dates or arrangements. You may choose to accept these arrangements
or to cancel your booking, in which case a 100% refund of the price of the retreat will be
provided. Any air cancellation will be in accordance with the terms of the carrier, and
Lifeandpauli LLC will not be liable for the carrier's refusal to make any refund. In such cases or
other similar cases, Lifeandpauli LLC will not be liable for any additional refunds or costs
incurred outside of the retreat price, such as transportation, visa and passport fees, travel
insurance, or any other purchases made in anticipation of the retreat.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
CHANGES BY TRAVELER. Since changes may be considered cancelled services, additional
cancellation penalties may apply. If allowed, changes are subject to additional Supplier charges,
are based on availability, and may incur additional fees.
TRANSFER BY YOU. Booking transfers to a new traveler must be requested no less than sixty
(60) days prior to the retreat start date. Lifeandpauli LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion,
to deny any request for a booking transfer, but will make reasonable efforts to transfer the
booking. The new traveler must meet all applicable health, insurance, and travel requirements.
If a transfer is approved, you will be refunded the total cost you paid less a $50 administrative
transfer fee plus any costs imposed by the Suppliers and any bank transfer, payment
processing, or currency exchange fees. You remain liable for the full cost of the retreat unless
and until a new traveler is confirmed and booked in writing.
CANCELLATION WITH REPLACEMENT PARTICIPANT. If you cancel your booking,
Lifeandpauli LLC will use reasonable efforts to find a replacement participant to fill your place. If
a replacement participant is confirmed and booked in writing, you will be refunded the total cost
you paid less a $50 administrative fee, plus any costs imposed by the Suppliers and any bank
transfer, payment processing, or currency exchange fees. You remain liable for the full cost of
the retreat unless and until a replacement participant is confirmed and booked in writing. The
replacement participant must meet all applicable health, insurance, and travel requirements.
Finding a replacement participant is not guaranteed, and if no replacement is confirmed, the
standard cancellation terms below shall apply.
CANCELLATION BY TRAVELER. Cancellation must be made in writing and is effective from
the date we receive the written notification. Lifeandpauli LLC is required to pay Suppliers well in
advance of your retreat date. Should a cancellation become necessary, please inform us
immediately in writing at retreats@lifeandpauli.com and request written confirmation of your
cancellation.
In addition to any Supplier cancellation and change fees, Lifeandpauli LLC enforces the
following cancellation policy:

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel
protection plan, you may be able to reclaim these charges. For this reason we strongly
recommend the purchase of a comprehensive travel protection plan.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY LIFEANDPAULI LLC. If circumstances require changes,
Lifeandpauli LLC and its Suppliers reserve the right to cancel or vary the programme and
substitute components of comparable quality. These changes will not be considered material
changes and will not be cause for cancellation by the traveler. We reserve the right to cancel or
reschedule any retreat for any reason. If we cancel, except in the case of a force majeure event,
we may offer alternate arrangements, and you may choose between a full refund of all money
paid or a credit in that amount for an alternative retreat. The traveler is responsible for any
additional costs not directly booked through Lifeandpauli LLC, including travel insurance, airline
tickets, or any other arrangements not made by us.
NO REFUND FOR UNUSED ARRANGEMENTS. As our prices are based on contract rates,
there will be no refund for any unused portion of your retreat. If you cancel while the retreat is in
progress, there is no refund for the unused portion. If you arrive late, any costs required to reach
the group will be at your own expense.
FORCE MAJEURE
Lifeandpauli LLC assumes no liability for any loss, damage, delay, or cancellation resulting in
whole or in part from an Act of God or any other force majeure condition, including, without
limitation: natural disasters, fire, tsunami, cyclone, environmental pollution or contamination,
inclement weather, earthquake, flood, water or power shortages or failures, tropical storms, riots
or civil disturbances, sabotage, cybersecurity issues, technology outages, changes of schedules
or operational decisions of air carriers, strikes or labor disruptions, acts of terrorism, war,
insurrection, quarantine restrictions, government health advisories, epidemics, pandemics,
government seizures, refusal or cancellation of any government authority, license or permit,
damage to the facilities of the Company or its Suppliers, or any other catastrophic
circumstances beyond our control. In circumstances amounting to force majeure, we will not be
required to refund any money to you, although if (and only if) we can recover any monies from
our Suppliers (and we are under no obligation to), we will refund these to you without any
charge by Lifeandpauli LLC.
MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE
Medical coverage is mandatory in the minimum amounts provided below. Proof of insurance
must be provided no later than thirty (30) days before the retreat start date. Lifeandpauli LLC
reserves the right to cancel your booking in the event that you do not provide proof of insurance
prior to the deadline.

The policy must explicitly cover surfing and swimming and snorkelling in open water.
Declining to purchase adequate coverage could result in the loss of your travel cost and may
require more money to correct a situation. You acknowledge that without this coverage, there
may be no way to recoup any losses, costs or expenses incurred. If you choose to travel without
adequate coverage, we will not be liable for any of your losses.
Travel protection coverage for trip cancellation, interruption and baggage loss is strongly
recommended and is not included in the cost of your retreat. While Lifeandpauli LLC may
recommend travel insurance options, we are not liable for any issues that result. We are not
qualified to answer technical questions about the benefits, exclusions, and conditions of travel
insurance plans and cannot evaluate the adequacy of your existing coverage. If you have
questions about your travel protection, contact your insurer, agent or broker.
HEALTH AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The retreat includes yoga, surfing and swimming in open water. All activities are suitable for
beginners, and no prior experience in yoga or surfing is required.
The traveler must, however, be able to swim confidently in open water in order to take part in
the water activities. The traveler acknowledges the physical nature of these activities and
confirms that they are in good physical and mental health.
The traveler certifies that they have disclosed all relevant medical conditions to the Company, by
way of the Medical Self-Declaration form completed as part of the booking process. The traveler
has a continuing duty to disclose any material change to their health status (including
pregnancy, surgery, injury, or new medication) occurring between booking and the retreat start
date. Failure to disclose may result in exclusion from activities or cancellation without refund.
The nature of the destination means that it may be unsuitable for those who use a wheelchair or
have limited mobility. Please advise us before booking if you have any disability or pre-existing
medical condition which may affect your ability to participate, or if you have any special
requirements, so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the arrangements. Any
accommodations provided will be at the sole expense of the traveler requiring them. We may
request a letter from your doctor confirming your fitness to travel.
If you are pregnant or expecting at or around the time of the retreat, please inform us prior to
booking. Some Suppliers will not permit travel past certain gestational periods.
Fitness and safety. The Company reserves the right to exclude a traveler from specific
activities if, in the Company's reasonable judgment, participation would pose an unacceptable
safety risk to the traveler or other participants.
Medical authorization. In the event of a medical emergency where the traveler is unable to
communicate, traveler authorizes the Company to arrange emergency medical treatment on the
traveler's behalf. All costs associated with such treatment are the sole responsibility of the
traveler.
For the safety of our guests, Lifeandpauli LLC reserves the right to request health information
prior to travel and to exclude any participant it deems unfit for travel at its sole discretion.
DESTINATION AND DOCUMENTATION
Some destinations carry greater risk than others. Before booking international travel, stay
current on news and review the U.S. Government’s travel prohibitions, warnings,
announcements, and advisories. Country conditions and risk levels are available at
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html and http://www.cdc.gov, and the State Department’s
travel advisory list is at:
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories.html/. Confirm each
country’s entry requirements (including any COVID-19 rules) and local travel laws (such as
medical testing or tracking) through official government websites. IF YOU TRAVEL TO A
COUNTRY UNDER A TRAVEL WARNING OR ADVISORY, LIFEANDPAULI LLC WILL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR ANY RESULTING DAMAGES OR LOSSES.
Each traveler is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying a valid passport, required visa(s),
inoculations, and all other documents required by applicable regulations. Key points:

TSA and DHS advise carrying at least two acceptable forms of ID to board any flight
(domestic or international): http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/acceptable-ids.
Travelers whose ID does not meet REAL ID ACT requirements must use an alternate
form (passport, military ID, or permanent resident card) to clear TSA checkpoints, even
for domestic flights.
Visas are required where applicable. For example, U.S. citizens visiting or transiting the
United Kingdom for short stays, tourism, or business need an Electronic Travel
Authorization (ETA) unless they hold a UK visa or legal residency in the UK or the
Republic of Ireland. Check whether your destination requires a visa at
https://www.usa.gov/visas-citizens-traveling-abroad.
Many countries deny entry if a passport expires within six (6) months of the entry date,
and many require a minimum number of blank pages.
Some countries charge entry (reciprocity) fees and/or departure/exit taxes, collected by
local authorities at the airport.
Non-U.S. citizens may need additional documents. Children and infants require all
applicable travel documents. Minors traveling with one parent or without both parents
may be denied entry unless authenticated, verified consent forms are provided. U.S.
Customs and Border Protection allows children under 19 arriving by land or sea from a
contiguous territory with a school, religious, social, cultural, or sports group to present an
original or copy of a birth certificate, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or Naturalization
Certificate; written parental or legal-guardian consent must be given to the supervising
adult or group leader.

responsibility for all risks and costs arising from any failure to report errors or omissions in their
documentation. STEP is a free U.S. Government service for citizens traveling or living abroad.
Enrolling lets the State Department better assist you in an emergency. Enrollment is
recommended at https://step.state.gov/step/.
Recommended inoculations can change. Consult your practitioner for current recommendations
before departure. You are responsible for meeting all health entry requirements, obtaining
recommended inoculations, taking recommended medication, and following medical advice for
your trip. Inoculation guidance is available from the CDC at https://www.cdc.gov/. Some
countries restrict travelers with criminal convictions, even expunged ones. If this applies to you,
notify us before booking and seek separate legal counsel to confirm your ability to travel. If you
are denied entry to a country or by a Supplier due to a conviction, Lifeandpauli LLC will not be
liable for any losses, expenses, or refunds to you or your group.
Additional key points regarding airfare:

INSECTICIDE NOTICE. Travelers are encouraged to check the list of countries that
require airlines to treat the passenger cabin with insecticides prior to the flight or while on
the aircraft on the U.S. Department of Transportation’s website, as this list is updated
from time to time:

BAGGAGE FEES/INFORMATION. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the
sole responsibility of the traveler. Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies, it
is suggested that you inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information.
Lifeandpauli is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. The
Department of Transportation along with the Federal Aviation Administration outline
which materials are hazardous to carry in your baggage. More detailed information on
this is available at https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all.

RE-CONFIRM YOUR FLIGHT. Lifeandpauli advises you personally to re-confirm your
flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any
last-minute changes or delays. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior
to departure. It is recommended that you arrive at the airport a minimum of two (2) hours
prior to departure for domestic flights, and three (3) hours for international flights.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY FAILURE TO STRICTLY COMPLY WITH THESE
REQUIREMENTS MAY RESULT IN DENIED BOARDING OR DELAY AT SECURITY,
CAUSING MISSED FLIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT BOOKINGS. LIFEANDPAULI LLC BEARS
NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ADVISING ON OR OBTAINING YOUR TRAVEL
DOCUMENTATION, OR FOR ANY DELAYS, DAMAGES, OR LOSSES — INCLUDING
MISSED PORTIONS OF YOUR VACATION — CAUSED BY IMPROPER DOCUMENTATION
OR GOVERNMENT ENTRY DECISIONS.
SUPPLIERS AND NON-RESPONSIBILITY
Lifeandpauli LLC does not provide, own, manage, operate, supervise or control the travel
services and products provided as part of your retreat, such as accommodation and retreat
venue providers, surf schools and water safety instructors, boat operators, transfer providers,
eateries, and activities ("Travel Products"). All Travel Products are owned, controlled, operated,
or made available by vetted, independent third parties ("Suppliers").
The Company acts as a coordinator and facilitator. Lifeandpauli LLC is an independent
contractor and is not a representative of any Supplier. All Suppliers are independent contractors
and are not representatives of Lifeandpauli LLC. The Supplier's terms, conditions and privacy
policies apply to your booking. Your interaction with any Supplier is at your own risk.
You agree that Lifeandpauli LLC acts only as an agent for the traveler in acquiring
accommodation, activities and other Travel Products for the traveler's benefit, and on the
express condition that Lifeandpauli LLC shall not be responsible for any act, omission,
negligence, bankruptcy, insolvency or default of any Supplier, company or person engaged in or
responsible for any Travel Products.
The Company exercises reasonable care in selecting Suppliers but does not guarantee,
warrant, or represent their qualifications, safety standards, or compliance with local regulations.
Lifeandpauli LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for any delay, change in schedule, loss,
injury or damage that may result from any act or omission on the part of others. Lifeandpauli
LLC accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items and reserves the right to refuse any
traveler at its sole discretion.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER
The traveler is aware of the risks connected with participating in the retreat. These risks include,
but are not limited to, the risk of injury from: interactions with animals and animal-involved
activities (e.g., horseback riding), surfing and other water activities, including drowning, currents
and surf conditions, impact with a surfboard, and cuts or abrasions from reef and coral; contact
with marine life; swimming and snorkeling in open water; boat excursions and water transport;
yoga practice, including muscle strains, joint injuries and falls; slips and falls on uneven terrain;
exposure to the elements, including heat, sun, water and wind; sunburn, heatstroke and
dehydration; consumption of alcoholic beverages; foodborne illness, tainted food or non-potable
water; dietary restrictions or allergic reactions; insects and tropical illness; known or unknown
medical conditions; the traveler's own negligence and the negligence of others, including
instructors, other travelers and the Company; delayed access to medical care on a local island;
and the adequacy of medical attention once provided.
The traveler understands that the description of these risks is not complete and that unknown or
unanticipated risks may result in injury or illness. In order to partake of the enjoyment of this
retreat, the traveler is willing to accept the risks and uncertainty involved as being an integral
part of travel, including the risk of serious injury.
THE TRAVELER HEREBY ACCEPTS AND ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY
AND ALL RISKS AND AGREES TO AND SHALL HOLD HARMLESS AND FULLY RELEASE
THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
RETREAT, INCLUDING ANY CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTY NEGLIGENCE AND THE ORDINARY
NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, AND THE TRAVELER HEREBY COVENANTS
NOT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR ANY SUCH CLAIMS OR JOIN ANY LAWSUIT
OR ACTION AGAINST THEM. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ALSO BIND YOUR HEIRS,
LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSIGNS. THE TERMS OF THIS PARAGRAPH SHALL
SURVIVE ANY TERMINATION OR CANCELLATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
This release does not apply to claims arising from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of
any of the Released Parties.
INDEMNIFICATION
The traveler agrees to and shall indemnify and hold harmless Lifeandpauli LLC and the
Released Parties from and against any expenses, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments,
settlements and costs (collectively,
"damages"), including reasonable attorneys' fees, with
respect to any claims, lawsuits, arbitrations, or other causes of action which result, directly or
indirectly, from: (i) the traveler's breach or violation of these Terms and Conditions; (ii) any of the
traveler's reckless or negligent acts or omissions, or any damage caused by the traveler while
participating in the retreat; (iii) any force majeure or inherent risk of travel; or (iv) claims brought
by third parties in connection with any of the foregoing. The traveler shall have no obligation to
indemnify the Released Parties for damages to the extent arising from the gross negligence or
willful misconduct of any of the Released Parties. The terms of this paragraph shall survive any
termination or cancellation of these Terms and Conditions.
YOUR BEHAVIOR
Each traveler is expected to act responsibly and adhere to all behavior guidelines established
by Lifeandpauli LLC and our Suppliers. The Company and all Suppliers reserve the right to
remove you from any accommodation, activity or means of transportation if your health or
conduct appears to endanger yourself or others, disrupts the well-being of other participants, or
interferes with the operation of the places we visit. In any such case, there will be no refund.
When you book with us you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you. Full
payment for any such damage or loss must be paid directly at the time to the accommodation
owner or other Supplier. You must indemnify us for the full amount of any claim (including legal
costs) made against us.
You acknowledge and agree to follow all laws and regulations of any country you enter while
participating in the retreat, and we strongly encourage you to inform yourself about local law, in
particular regarding the use and possession of drugs and the local regulations concerning
alcohol. There will be no tolerance for the use or possession of any illegal drug. We
require responsible alcohol consumption for your safety and for those around you. If you are
asked to leave the retreat for inappropriate behavior, violence, or any other disruptive action,
you will not be refunded.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND CONTENT
The traveler acknowledges that the retreat may be photographed and filmed by the Company,
its staff, or designated photographers.
A separate Content and Media Release Form will be provided to the traveler prior to the
retreat. Participation in the retreat is not conditional upon granting consent. Consent is
given voluntarily and may be withdrawn at any time by written notice to
retreats@lifeandpauli.com. Travelers who do not consent, or who withdraw their consent, will be
accommodated to the extent reasonably possible.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER, LIMITATION OF DAMAGES, NOTICE
OF CLAIM
You agree that you will only bring claims against Lifeandpauli LLC in your individual capacity
and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action or representative
proceeding.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lifeandpauli LLC shall not in any case be
liable for other than compensatory damages, and your payment of a deposit means that you
agree to these conditions and expressly waive any right to punitive damages. This limitation
does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including
liability arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct. You understand and agree that, as a
condition precedent to any claim, you must first provide written notice of claim to Lifeandpauli
LLC within thirty (30) days after the retreat or cancellation of the retreat, describing the nature
of the claim. Any claim for which such written notice is not provided within this period shall be
deemed waived and barred to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
In no event shall Lifeandpauli LLC's liability to you (or any member of your traveling party, or
your heirs, successors and assigns), from any cause of action, exceed the amounts paid to
Lifeandpauli LLC for the services performed in connection with these Terms and Conditions, and
this is your sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
These Terms and Conditions and all attachments hereto and the rights of the parties hereunder
shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida,
exclusive of conflict or choice of law rules, and without regard to the United Nations Convention
on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Any claims shall be brought exclusively in a
court of competent jurisdiction located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the
personal jurisdiction of such courts. EACH PARTY KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY, AND
INTENTIONALLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY ACTION OR
PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR
THE RETREAT.
DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
In connection with your booking, Lifeandpauli LLC collects and processes personal information
about you, which may include health and medical information you provide on the Medical
Self-Declaration. We use this information to administer your booking, to arrange and deliver the
retreat, and to protect your health and safety and that of the group. We may share this
information with our staff, Suppliers, insurers, and emergency medical providers to the extent
necessary for these purposes. We retain your information only for as long as reasonably
necessary for these purposes or as required by law. By making a booking and providing this
information, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure as described. If you have
questions about how your information is handled, or wish to exercise any rights you may have
under applicable data-protection law, review our Privacy Policy (available on our website and
incorporated herein by reference) and contact us at retreats@lifeandpauli.com.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
You consent to receive electronic communications, and you agree that all documents, notices,
disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal
requirement that such communications be in writing.
MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms and Conditions, including any other documents and invoices we provide you,
constitute our entire agreement and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications
and proposals. If any provision shall be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be
deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining
provisions. Failure by us to exercise or enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a
waiver of such right or provision. Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms and
Conditions shall not be construed against the drafting party. The provisions which by their nature
extend beyond termination shall survive.
These Terms and Conditions shall be written in, and all other communication under or in
connection with them shall be in, the English language. Any translation into any other language
shall not be an official version, and in the event of any conflict in interpretation between the
English version and such translation, the English version shall control.
I HAVE READ THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP
SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS (THE RIGHT TO SUE). I SIGN IT FREELY AND
